Biography:

Dr Marcus qualified in Medicine at University College London in 1976, and pursued postgraduate training in Haematology at UCLH , Hammmersmith and Royal Free Hospitals . He was appointed Consultant at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge in 1987 where he established the East Anglia bone marrow transplant unit and a special interest in Haematological malignancies . He relocated to Kings College Hospital in 2008 where he has developed further specific expertise in malignancies in the immune suppressed patient . He is currently lead investigator in a number of international studies of novel agents in lymphoma and co-editor of “Myeloma” and “Lymphoma” two multi-author text books published by Cambridge University Press in 2013
