Everyday, our leading heart consultants and specialist nurses carry out pioneering work, using highly advanced medical equipment. Within the cardiac department, the intensive care unit is monitored around the clock, while our private rooms offer patients maximum comfort and privacy. Beyond medical treatment, our support staff will advise patients about lifestyle choices that can help maintain a healthy heart post-treatment.

We offer the full range of cardiac treatments and can cater for any age range. The cardiac unit has 15 private rooms and 5 beds in an open coronary care unit with high level technology monitoring throughout. There is a continuous high ratio per patient of doctors and nurses with Advanced Life Support training. Paediatric patients who need cardiac care are looked after on the Paediatric unit.

Cardiac services

Cardiac treatment is carried out by direct surgical intervention and, increasingly, by catheterization. The Clinic provides a high level of surgical and medical care with 24 hour resident doctor cover to assist the surgeons and cardiologists in delivering the highest standard of care.

Emergency care

Cardiac care at The Harley Street Clinic has been developed to ensure that immediate diagnostic investigations and the appropriate treatment are available to the patient who may have suffered or be at risk of developing a myocardial infarction. Our aim is to provide a 24 hour service which ensures the patient is rapidly seen by a cardiologist.
