The work of the faculty of Nursing recognises nursing as a highly specialist area of professional expertise which has profound and positive impact on the treatment, well-being and recovery of patients at the hospital.
Our starting point is that nurses have the most interaction with patients from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave and they are responsible for significant aspects of treatment and safety.
Clinical Nurse Specialist
The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is a highly trained senior nurse who is able to offer information regarding treatments, practical advice and psychological support to patients and their families from diagnosis through treatment and ongoing care. The CNS may also provide hands-on care and teaching for staff and patients.
The Harley Street Clinic has an excellent range of CNS staff covering important disciplines which support both the patients and the consultants during treatment regimes.
