The Harley Street Clinic has at its disposal a full range of the latest diagnostic technology to support the complex cancer, cardiac and paediatric treatments that are performed daily at the hospital.
Experienced Consultant Radiologists, Cardiologists and Radiotherapists are supported in their diagnoses by a team of professional radiographers, nurses and dosimetrists.
A Medical Physics Department staffed by experts in their field uses the diagnostic technology to expertly plan cancer treatments.
We now, for the first time, have an operational MRI scanner in the main clinic of The Harley Street Clinic.
This MRI scanner is a perfect partner to our existing 3T MRI machine at 13/14 Devonshire St, due to its 1.5 Tesla field strength, it is more suitable for Paediatric and cardiac scanning. Currently we are able to offer scans without anaesthesia but in the near future we shall be able to offer scans under general anaesthetic and cardiac stress – in dedicated sessions.. We are working closely with our specialist consultants at The Heart Hospital, Kings’ Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital in developing these services.
Currently we are able to offer brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis as well as all musculoskeletal scans such as shoulders, hips and knees.
